United Health One Plan 100 is a simple plan offering a straight deductible with no first dollar coverage. This means that the member is responsible for 100% of the plan deductible prior to receiving benefits, or claims dollars paid to the provider from United Healthcare. The United Health One Saver 80 is the most affordable plan of the High Deductible Health Plans available form United Healthcare. This plan is priced 30%-40% less in monthly premium than the Plan 100 and offers 80/20 coinsurance until the member has reached $15,000 in out of pocket expenses. After reaching the out-of-pocket max expenses the plan kicks in at 100%. Individual and families should understand that this health insurance coverage is limited and should be looked at as more like catastrophic major medical coverage. The United Health One Copay Select Plans is the most comprehensive plan offered through United Healthcare today. The United Health One Copay Select Plan offers unlimited number of office visits for general practice and specialist visits. Additionally, the plan offers the same copay for urgent care services as well.

The Rx coverage on the Copay Select offers a four tier copay structure for drugs with a deductible prior to the Rx copay for name brand drugs or what would normally be considered Tier 2 or 3 brands. As previously mentioned there are no Rx deductibles for United Health One Plans generic drugs, and no deductible for tier 1 drugs. Tier 4 drugs require that you pay a 25% coinsurance after you meet the separate RX deductible.

The United Health One Copay Saver is the most affordable copay plan available through United Health One. This plan offers two doctor office visits at a copay and only covers generic drugs, name brand, tier 2, 3, & 4 drugs, are not covered. However coverage for costly expenses such as inpatient hospital & outpatient surgery is covered under the deductible and coinsurance.
