In 2008 UnitedHealthOne launched dental coverage for their individual & family health insurance products underwritten by Golden Rule Insurance Company. These UnitedHealthOne Dental Plans offer and extensive United Healthcare network of dentist providing significant savings to keep cost low for you and your family. There are 2 dental plans that are currently offered to United Healthcare members. These are the UnitedHealthOne Dental Premier and UnitedHealthOne Dental Value plan.*

With both UnitedHealthOne Dental Plans, you can take advantage of:*

Preventive care covered at 100% with no deductible or waiting period.*

Access to an extensive United Healthcare network of over 73,000 dentists.*

Two plans with flexibility of in and out of network dentists.*

A $50 deductible per person with a (limited 3 individual $50 deductibles per family for Basic Services and Major Services), *

Co-insurance after United Healthcare dental deductible of 80% for Basic Dental Services and 50% for Major Dental Services* (Six month waiting period for Basic Services & Twelve month waiting period for Major services).*

A United Healthcare Dental Plan maximum benefit of $1,000 per covered person per calendar year.*

The UnitedHealthOne Dental Premier offers benefits both in and out of network if your dentist is not in the United Healthcare Dental Network. If you use an out of network dentist, Unite Healthcare Dental Premier pays benefits based on the reasonable and customary charges*

The UnitedHealthOne Dental Value offers you the best options if you use a dentist that is in the United Healthcare dental network.* If you use and out of network dentist on the United Healthcare Dental Value plan it pays benefits based on the network negotiated rate-which is usually less that the reasonable and customary charge.*
